PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSORS The GrimmerSchmidt portable compressor line includes gasoline powered MonoBlock compressors from 100-175 cfm, diesel powered rotary screw air compressors from 100-1000 cfm, and clean burning, alternative fuel powered rotary screw compressors. There are skid-mounted versions for each of the portable units for mounting on trucks or other special applications. MonoBlock Series Air Compressors GrimmerSchmidt began with the MonoBlock air compressor, which remains a core compressor design used in many GrimmerSchmidt products. Our MonoBlock compressors feature a patented water cooled head and valve. Fuel economy is unmatched due to another feature, the PaceAir System. The hoods on our rotary series air compressors have gas-assisted lift cylinders that provide easy access for inspection, cleaning and servicing. This series includes full instrumentation, a full gauge panel that allows monitoring of equipment status. MonoScrew Series Oil Flooded Air Compressors 50-250 hp (pdf) OIL FREE AIR COMPRESSORS GrimmerSchmidt's oil free air compressors are similar to the oil flooded air compressors in design and long life, but eliminate disposal of waste oil and oil filters. The use of water as a cooling and sealing liquid provides lower discharge temperatures allowing high cfm delivery and eliminates the need for a two-stage compression and interstage coolers. These air compressors are ideally suited to critical applications where clean compressed air is essential.
